In need of assistance

So, I just got assigned this poetry project at school...(actually this shit was assigned a week ago) and out of our three project options, I've chosen to write five (5) original poems.

Problem is...I'm dry. "Dry" meaning I have no inspiration. Nothing in my life AMAZES me. Then again, nothing ever does. (Ignore the emo-ness, please)

I just need anyone's and everyone who reads a new member's journal's help. Gimme inspiration! A joke, a story, a picture, whatever! Just something good that will be worth writing at least a 12 lined poem about.
